Prominent Citizen Dies Death came to Mr. F. L. LANGFORD at his home in the Hudson River community of Banks county, last Friday afternoon at 6 o'clock, following an illness of six days from pneumonia. He was 42 years of age, a native of the county in which he died and one of the best farmers within her borders. His citizenship was of great value to his county. Standing for progress, good government, education and ever championing the side of right and morality in every cause, he won for himself an enviable record and the highest respect of his fellow citizens. His counsel will be missed and in his going away, the community has lost a strong man. Having made Commerce his trading headquarters, Mr. Langford was intimately known here. He was admired for his native ability, successful achievements and for his integrity. His death is sincerely mourned by the scores of friends here who have enjoyed his acquaintance and friendship. The funeral was conducted from the home Saturday, Rev. C.A. STRICKLAND, of Talmo, officiating, and the internment took place in the Burgess cemetery. Besides his wife and four children, he leaves to mourn his departure, four brothers-W.H. and George Langford of Pocataligo, A.C. Langford, of Hebron, and S.J.
