FORT HOLLINGSWORTH 2005

 

 

This is a dogtrot built by Joshua White in the 1860's. It was designed to separate the original fort structure from the expansions to allow for more passage of air. Dogtrot closed up in the 1930's by Beacher White.

Original room containing fireplace etc. in the fort. This would be the first level of the fort.
