Homer Presbyterian Church Sunday School Records, Homer, Georgia

The agenda for Sunday School generally included 1, Hymn, 2) Scripture, 3) Prayer, 4) Lesson, 5) Attendance and 6) Weather.

The Secretary's book recorded the attendance and agenda but also made mention of pertinent information regarding the morning worship service and the weather. Below is an example;

Divine Services at this church at 11 a.m. by the pastor also at the M. E. church at 4 p.m. by Rev. Mr. Smith of LaGrange, Ga.

The committee on program submitted some books and sheet music; and after consideration, the school adopted the book "Spirit and Life". After which 16 copies were bought by individuals and the order made ready for the Pub. house.

The amount collected for the books was $4.80 and 50 cts for express, after which 50 cts more was requested for express.
