State of Georgia Banks County

In the name of God Amen. I William F. Morris of the County and State aforesaid being of sound and disclosing mind and memory deam it right and proper that I should dispose of the property with which a kind providence has left me. I therefore make this my last will and testament hereby revoking all others heretofore made by me. Item 1st I will that after my death my body be buried in a desent and Christian like manner suitable to my condition in life my soul I trust will return to God who gave it. Item 2nd It is my will that all my just debts be paid with as little delay as possible by my executor hereinafter named. Item 3rd I will that the tract of land where on I now live containing 116 acres and one track of land in Hall County containing 200 acres more or less adjoining Taylor Reynolds and others known as the Rebecca Hawkins place go to be beloved wife Averilla M. Morris for and during her natural life together with all the rights, members, and appertenances there unto after ____________ and after her death that said tracts be sold and equally divided amongst all my children to with Philo and William F. Morris and any other child that she may have by me. Item 4th I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Averilla M. Morris all my personal property consisting of cattle horses hogs farming utensils house hould and kitchen furniture money notes and accounts and all other property both real and personal of which I may dispose of for and during her natural life and at her death what ever may remain unexpended of said property I desire that it be sold and the proceeds equally divided among all my children in the same manner as specified in the third item of this will. Item 5th I constitute and appoint my beloved wife my soul executrix of this my last will and testament this 19th day of August 1863. W. F. Morris Signed and published by the said William F. Morris as his last will and testament in the presents of as the subscribing witnesses who subscribed the same in the presents of said William F.
