In the name of God Amen. I William Morris being old but of sound mind and ____________ memory and calling to mind the mortality of my body and that it is appointed unto man once to die I make this my last will and testament. First I give my sould to God who gave it and my body to decent burial nothing _________________ but I shall receive it again at the resurrection by the mighty forse of God. And as touching my worldly ______________ that is has pleased God to help me with I do dispose of in the following manner. First I do give and bequeath unto my two sons John E. Morris and Henry J. Morris and my daughter Elizabeth W. Jones five shilling sterling a piece and seconally I give and bequeath after all my first debts are paid all the remaining balance of my property to my son William G. Morris. Morris and the witness to said will. Rhoda Allan and Martha Christian Allan Morris having subscribed the following affidavit incurred on said will January Term 18__ of Banks County of Ordinary and into open court at this regular term of the Court. Rhoda Allan and Martha Christian Morris and being duly sworn depose that they saw William Morris assign and publish the writing as his last will and testament while of sound and disposing mind that they witnessed the same for him at his request and in the preasants of each of them and that the same was executed voluntarily by him on the day it purports to have been executed.

Morris respectfully showeth that William Morris departed this life in Hall County, now Banks County, on or about the ____ day of August 1847 leaving a small estate both real and personal of the value of Twelve Hundred dollars. That the said William Morris died intestate and no administration has been had on said estate your petitioner therefore petitioned your honor to appoint your petitioner permanent administration on the estate of said deceased and your petitioner will ever _________.
