Elsie Keasler OSBURN, 79, of Banks County, Homer, GA died September 11, 1983. Born in Banks County, she was a daughter of the late George Mason and Sudie Cochran Keasler. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Hubert Osborn. Survivors include sons, George, Willard, Harold, Swayne and Carlton Osborn; daughters, Mrs. Frank (Helen) Bellamy, Mrs. Jimmy (Ebbie) Hope and Mrs. Jimmy (Linda) Dodd; brothers, Guy and Eldon Keasler; sisters, Mrs. Ralph Blalock and Mrs. Monroe Cash; grandchildren; great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held September 13, 1983 at Nails Creek Baptist Church by the Revs. Fred Freeman and W. J. Reynolds. Interment was in the Nails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Little-Ward Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
William Hubert OSBURN, 56, died December 26, 1960 in Banks County, Homer, GA. He was born in Banks County, GA and was a member of the Nails Creek Baptist Church. He was a son of Mrs. Mary Strange Osburn, who survives him, and the late George Osburn. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elsie K. Osburn; sons, George, Doyle, Carlton, Willard, Harold, and Swayne Osburn; daughters, Mrs. Frank Bellamy, Miss Ebbie Jean Osburn, and Miss Lynda Osburn; brothers, Grady, Henry, Otha and J. B. Osburn; sisters, Mrs. Bernice Westbrook, Misses Lucille and Mary Sue Osburn, Mrs. John Monk, Mrs. Olin Taylor and Mrs. Richard Holbrook. Funeral services were held December 27, 1960 from the Nails Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. J. E. Cornette and the Rev. W. J. Reynolds officiating. Burial was in the Nails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. McGahee Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
